Definitions
Applied Ceramic Label (ACL):A highly durable, glass only Screen Printing process that is ideal for high-speed lines.
Applied Organic Label (AOL): Screen Printing process that allows for a wide range of colors including transparent and opaque colors. This process is not as durable as ACL.
Heat Transfer Decal (HTD): Complex artwork containing several colors is achieved with consistent registration and tight tolerances.
Hot Stamping: Choice of color foils including banding on closures and containers.
Pad Print: Printing process used on complex shaped bottles.
Pressure Sensitive Labeling (PSL): Preprinted labels applied on glass and plastic containers. Choice of multicolor and complex images.
Screen Printing: (a/k/a Silk Screen Printing) Desired photographic image (artwork) is transferred on glass or plastic surface through fine mesh screens. Colored images are obtained using ceramic and organic based inks.
Spray Coating: Glass and Plastic containers can be spray coated with paint in a variety of colors. Paints can be either ceramic, organic, or UV. Multi color, fade in and out effects can be achieved.
